Bid for a home with Cheshire Homechoice
Cheshire Homechoice went live on the 12th April. This new scheme offers applicants more choice on applying for a home in Cheshire East. After our first week, we are delighted to announce that we received bids on all of our 19 homes that were advertised as part of the scheme. We are now busy letting homes to those applicants who were on the top of the list.
All available homes can be found at www.cheshirehomechoice.org.uk Every week, homes will be advertised. The advert will tell you about the property, for example, how many bedrooms, what the rent is, who is the landlord and if any restrictions apply. You can express an interest by bidding for properties you are eligible for.
This is a totally different from the way homes have been allocated in the past, transferring the process of looking for a home completely in your hands. But don’t worry, support is available by contacting 0300 123 3051
