Renting in Ellesmere Port and Neston

The new Trust Homechoice Common Allocations Policy was applied on 1 October 2013.

Below are the following documents which will give you further information about Trust Homechoice:

- Changes to the allocation policy which could affect you
- Choice Based lettings Scheme Guide - about Trust Homechoice

Responsibility for the administration of the housing register is now with Cheshire West and Chester Council.  Trust Homechoice will continue to operate and customers will be advised to contact the Council for all housing register and bidding queries.  Plus Dane Group will continue to allocate and manage properties in the Ellesmere Port and Neston area.

The service has been integrated with the Council’s Housing Solutions Team. There is a new IT system and website which will enable customers to apply, update their application and bid for properties all online.

Existing customers should have received a letter advising how to login to their new online Trust Homechoice account.

Customers who require additional support or want to talk to a member of the Trust Homechoice team can contact the Housing Solutions Advice Line on 0300 123 2442.  The team will be available from 9am to 5pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday – and from 1pm to 5pm on Wednesday's.

Customers can also contact the service via CWaC i-connect kiosks.

You can view where we have properties in Ellesmere Port and Neston by downloading the 'Where Our Homes Are' booklet below. This will also tell you how many properties we have in that area, the property type and the average rent.

Looking for a mutual exchange

If you are already a Plus Dane tenant or a tenant of a local authority or housing association and are looking to move home, why not try a mutual exchange?

A mutual exchange is where you find another tenant who wants to move and swap homes. This can be a great way of moving home as it allows you to search for a home where you want live and find someone who wants to live in your home.

You can find someone to swap with using the free HomeSwapper scheme. This is a national service which is quick and easy to use with powerful and effective matching. Hundreds of households swap each month through HomeSwapper.

You can register direct with HomeSwapper by visiting their website. If you need any help with your application, please contact us.
