Renting
If you are threatened with, or actually are homeless, you should contact your Local Authority Housing Service immediately.
Anyone can apply to rent a home from us, even if you are under 18 years old. If you are under 18 you can apply for a home in the usual way but will need a ‘guarantor’.
From April 2010 the way in which we let our properties changed with the introduction of Cheshire Homechoice.
Cheshire Homechoice is a scheme that operates across the whole of Cheshire East and allows people to express an interest in homes they would like to live in. The homes are allocated according to housing need but everybody is able to see what vacancies there are at any time.
